Custom Hardware Project FAQ

Practical answers about technical review, prototypes, commercial terms, files, quality coordination and delivery.

What does Xinjiedian Tech do?

We coordinate sourcing, prototyping and low-volume production for custom mounting parts, metal enclosures, installation kits and equipment identification through a manufacturing partner network in China.

Does Xinjiedian Tech own a factory?

We operate as a sourcing and production coordination partner, not as the owner of a large factory. Manufacturing partners are matched to the reviewed project requirements.

Can you start from a photo, sample or model number?

Yes. These can start a technical review. We may request measured dimensions, interface details, a physical sample or drawings before feasibility and quotation are confirmed.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Confirmed after reviewing dimensions, material, process and quantity.

What is the lead time?

Confirmed after technical and production review.

How is pricing calculated?

Quoted based on drawing, material, finish, quantity and delivery destination.

Which file formats can I submit?

We accept PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP, STP, JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, ZIP for initial review. Password-protected or unsupported files may require another format.

Can you coordinate a prototype?

Prototype coordination is available when appropriate for the project. Scope, cost, review points and timing are confirmed after technical review.

Which materials and finishes are available?

Common options include mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum with project-appropriate finishes. The final selection depends on geometry, environment, appearance, quantity and supplier review.

How is quality checked?

Inspection is coordinated against agreed drawings, approved samples, critical dimensions, appearance points, kit contents and packaging requirements.

Can you coordinate international delivery?

Yes. Delivery destination, packing, shipment method, documentation and commercial terms are reviewed for each project before confirmation.

How should I handle confidential files?

Share only files you are authorized to provide. Ask about confidentiality arrangements before uploading highly sensitive information. Customer attachments are stored privately and are not published as website content.

Can you make branded or replacement parts?

Only when the customer has the legal right to the design, artwork and marks. We do not support counterfeit goods or unauthorized use of third-party intellectual property.

Are materials or finished parts certified by default?

No. Certification is never assumed. Any regulatory, testing, traceability or documentation requirement must be identified and confirmed in writing for the specific project.
